FROM MARYLAND:
Follow US Route 301 South across the Harry W. Nice Bridge.
Turn left onto State Rt. 218 East (4th traffic sign after crossing bridge).
Turn left onto State Rt. 205 East.
Turn left at State Rt. 205Y (at traffic signal, Colonial Avenue); turn right on Washington Avenue. Turn left (a sharp 90º turn) onto Wilder Avenue. The Commission Office is on the corner of Wilder Avenue and Taylor Street. 222 Taylor Street.

FROM RICHMOND, VA:
Follow US Route 301 North, turn right on State Rt. 205 E, turn left at State Rt. 205Y (traffic signal Colonial Avenue), turn right on Washington Avenue. Turn left (a sharp 90º turn) onto Wilder Avenue. The Commission Office is on the corner of Wilder Avenue and Taylor Street. 222 Taylor Street.

FROM TAPPAHANNOCK, VA:
Follow US Route 360 East, turn left on State Rt. 3 West, turn right on State Rt. 205 West, turn right on State Rt. 205Y (traffic signal Colonial Avenue), turn right on Washington Avenue. FROM FREDERICKSBURG, VA:
Follow State Route 3 East to State Rt. 205 E (traffic signal) in King George, turn left onto State Rt. 205E travel to Colonial Beach, turn left at State Rt. 205Y (traffic signal Colonial Avenue), turn right on Washington Avenue. Turn left (a sharp 90º turn) onto Wilder Avenue. The Commission Office is on the corner of Wilder Avenue and Taylor Street. 222 Taylor Street.

The Potomac River Fisheries Commission coordinates regulations with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR), the Virginia Marine Resources Commission (VMRC) and the Department of Game and Inland Fisheries, (DGIF) and with the other Atlantic coastal states through the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission (ASMFC).
